Felix Blinds is a blind fitting service covering Newport, Cardiff and the South Wales valleys. We size up your windows, order to those sizes and hang the blinds ourselves, which is the only way to be certain a blind sits flush in the recess and runs true from the first day.
Most of the problems people call us about are fitting problems rather than product problems. These are the three we are called out to fix, and getting the sizes right costs nothing and prevents all of them.
Louvres that catch
Cut to the widest point of a recess that is not square, so they snag on the frame every time you open them.
A headrail levelled to the ceiling
Ceilings are rarely level with the window. Level to the window and the blind sits true against the glass.
A drop taken in one place
Measure the height in three places and work to the smallest, or the blind fouls the sill at one end.
Vertical Blind Fitting
The workhorse for wide windows, patio doors and conservatories. Louvres are cut to the exact drop so they hang clean and turn without catching on the frame.

Made to your sizes
Your blinds are cut to the sizes taken at your window, not to a standard drop that nearly fits.
Fitted and squared up
Hung, levelled and tested on the day. Anything that is not right is put right. That is what the guarantee is for.
Samples in your room, not a showroom
Fabric never looks the same twice. A cream that reads warm under showroom lights can turn grey against a north-facing wall, so the samples come to your window and you choose in the light the blind will actually live in.
